Kate Mcllroy is a NZ cyclist, triathlete and former runner. She won the world mountain running title in 2005 and was later named NZ Sportswoman of the Year at the Halberg Awards. Kate spoke to the children during our assembly about her dream of becoming a top athlete at the age of 7. She also spoke about all her achievements throughout her career.
