On Friday, Richard Scholes came to Kilbirnie School to
perform his science show called - ‘Wild Weather.’
Richard, the crazy scientist showed us some wacky and fun
experiments. He demonstrated how
precipitation forms, how snow is made and how tornadoes and cyclones are
created. We learnt a lot about weather
and hope he can come back to teach us more.
What a great way to end a very busy week!

100's Party
For the last 100 days Room 3 and 4 have been learning about numbers. Each day we put a stick in the jar until we got to 100. Everyday we looked closely at the number to see if it was odd or even, what numbers came before and after the number of the day, and some number stories totalling our number of the day. When we got to 100 we celebrated with a maths party. Here are some photos of the delicious food we had.

Tennis Lesson
Here are some photos of Room 3 in action at tennis. We have had a great time learning some tennis skills.
Tomorrow, we will have another tennis lesson with our coaches. We been learning how to throw a tennis ball to our partner and stop the ball with a tennis racket. We think we are getting pretty good at it! -
